Grafton Manor

What a wedding Day!!
I could easily stop my blog right there with those four words, as this wedding day was just gorgeous.
Matt and Jane are such a special couple with a wonderful family and a fabulous group of friends. When all of these people came together to celebrate their love for one another and their children, it was truly a magical day.

We would just like to say thank you so much for photographing our special day. The memories will never be forgotten as you have captured those moments for us. Matt & Jane

Hogarths Hotel Engagement Shoot

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure to spend a golden hour shooting with Simon and Claire in the lovely grounds of Hogarths Hotel.
With their wedding only a month away, we wanted to explore the grounds and hotel where I will be shooting their wedding in a few short weeks.  We had such a giggle and if it wasn’t for the fading daylight, I could have clicked away for hours more.
These photos really show how much they adore each other and how comfortable they are in front of the camera.
I can’t wait until June and their big day!

Warwick Registry Office

Easter Bank Holiday weekend, the one day of sunshine (standard), the beautiful town of Warwick and lots of sangria = the perfect combination for gorgeous wedding photos and a Spanish themed celebration.
Charlotte rang me back in 2015 and after a brief conversation about what she was looking for and my style of photography, she booked me on the spot.
It can be a bit nerve wracking when you haven’t met the bride or groom in person before. You have to walk into a room and try and spot the man with the cravat or tie that is a slightly different colour from all the other men in suits (or who looks the most nervous), and say “hello I’m Steph, I’m your wedding photographer”. I needn’t have worried. I was made to feel so welcome by Gareth and all the wedding guests before the ceremony and by the time we took our places in the registry office, it felt like we were all old friends.
When beautiful Charlotte walked into the room, both the groom’s and best man’s expressions were priceless. I love capturing raw unguarded emotion and I had tears I my eyes during the ceremony as you could see how much it meant to the couple and all their special guests.
Afterwards, we spent time in the glorious sunshine taking advantage of the lovely walled garden behind the registry office and its ample photo backdrops. The reception venue, ‘Bar Catalan’ conveniently backs onto the same walled garden, so guests were able to enjoy live flamenco music, sangria and nibbles whilst celebrating and photos were being taken.

A big thank you once again for your time on the day, you were great and made everyone feel very relaxed!

Chateaux Impney

A handsome prince, a beautiful princess and a fairy-tale castle (Chateaux Impney) – What more could anyone ask for……?!
Shooting a wedding like this is every wedding photographers dream and I really did feel like I was part of a ‘Once Upon a Time’ Story.
Michelle and Alastair’s day was pure magic and was a joy to capture and be a part of. I could write pages and pages about this day and still not be done describing the joy, love and general awesome atmosphere that the day held.
I will let my pictures do the talking!

First and foremost we both want to say a massive thank you. Michelle and I spoke on honeymoon how lucky we were to have found and chosen you to be our photographer. On the day you weren’t just our photographer but like some sort of wedding day coach, helping us through the day and re-assuring us that everything was going ok. It’s testament to you that even our parents, family and friends commented on how lovely you were, how relaxed they were being photographed and how non-intrusive you were to the extent that a lot of the time we forgot you were even there!.
We both really appreciate the work you put in on the day and no doubt have put in since with regards to editing. To achieve total coverage of our day across 2 houses in 2 towns, a church venue and separate reception venue 40 minutes apart is something we know we wouldn’t get with most photographers! Seeing as you were at the boys house just after 10am, and left at goodness knows what time from the Chateau in the evening, we really appreciate you stopping on a bit later than originally planned as we had over ran.
-Alastair & Michelle

The Abbey Hotel

I first met Sam and Steve in 2014 when they asked me chat with them about capturing their wedding day. As soon as I walked into their home I felt so welcome and when I met their two gorgeous daughters, I knew without doubt, that theirs would be a wonderful wedding day. I was proved so right!
Held at The Abbey Hotel in Redditch, Worcs; the venue was just perfect for their intimate day. Both the wedding guests and staff at the hotel were so welcoming and friendly that it made my job a dream!

We just wanted to say a MASSIVE thank you for our wedding on Saturday. You were incredible from the minute you arrived. I hate having photos taken, and you made the whole experience relaxing and enjoyable for both of us.

Everybody commentated on how friendly and great you were, and how hard you worked all day.

You helped make our day perfect.

Thank you so much

Sam and Steve O’Connor X

Sherbourne Park

When Alex said to me last year at our first meeting “I want our wedding day to be different” I knew right then that I and all their lovely guests were in for a treat. I was not wrong!!
So much thought and love had gone into every little detail and the result was breath-taking.
They day started out a bit dreary with rain showers, but that did not stop the smiles, love and happiness that radiated from every single person present to witness Alex and Jasons’ magical day!
My brief was to take lots of relaxed and fun photos, to really capture the essence of the day. I had such fun, and at times I was laughing so much it was hard to hold my camera still and focus.
The wedding took place at  Sherbourne Church with the reception a short walk away in a beautiful marque at Sherbourne Park.
I had this wonderful feedback:

Hey Stephanie,
Wow! The photos are amazing ….Cant thank you enough for capturing our special day together. We didn’t even notice you there! Love the crazy photos of the bridesmaids and ushers, that was a lovely surprise!
Thank you again. Hopefully we will see you soon xx

Pendrell Hall

Held at the exquisite Pendrell Hall Country House, Wendy and Steve’s wedding was a glorious celebration of their love for each other and for their family and friends. Guests flew in from all over the world to be a part of their special day, and to say that I have never seen so many happy, smiley faces would be an understatement (especially after the free bar opened for business).
I have two main memories from the day that will always make me smile…
The first is, 10 minutes before the ceremony, the bride was still not dressed and was calmly trying to help the bridesmaids into their dresses with no concern for herself at all. The hotel wedding planner was hopping from foot to foot and all the guests were already seated in the ceremony room. I put my cameras down and dressed Wendy myself. I have never been more thankful for all the times I have peered over shoulders to get perfect shots of the lacing of the dress; so I knew exactly what I was doing – phew!!
The second memory is again about the dress. Wendy, realising that the dresses hoop had snapped and had somehow un-threaded itself, was unable to walk. We were on an outside gravel patio and poor Steve didn’t know how to help. Again, my cameras were put down and I found myself on my hands and knees in the gravel, with my head under the dress, re-threading and attaching the hoop.
After that I made a promise to myself to always carry knee pads in my kit bag!

Thank you for all your help on our wedding day, it was well above and beyond the call of duty.
We have just received our photographs. They are truly amazing, thank you so very much.
Take care – Wendy and Steve

Hogarths Hotel, Dorridge

It may have been a  tad chilly (2 degrees) and a little wet on the January day when Kirstin and Edward had their wedding blessing. However, that didn’t matter as the atmosphere was so joyful and warm as friends and family came together to celebrate.
Edward and Kirstin live in and were married in South Africa in 2014. This blessing and day was a wonderful way for those that couldn’t make it to their SA wedding to celebrate Edward and Kirstin’s love and commitment to each other.
Edwards mum Jane, contacted me and booked my services in November after I was recommended to her by guests that had attended Maria and Gary’s wedding blessing earlier in the year. She sent me this lovely feedback …

It was such a lovely surprise to receive the beautiful presentation case with CD of the photos you took for Ed and Kirst’s wedding blessing on 3rd January – something to treasure forever. The photos are really lovely and I wanted to thank you for the time and detail you put into them. It is very much appreciated.
P. S we love the photo of Kirst and her mum taking a selfie on your website.
Wishing you continued success for the future

Wharton Park Golf and Country Club

Lauren and Roberts’ day was held at the lovely Wharton Park Golf and Country Club, in Bewdley, Worcestershire. It is a lovely venue right in the heart of the countryside, with sweeping views across the golf course and fields.
Although the day was a little grizzly, as our wonderful British weather can be from time to time, no one let the weather dampen their spirits.
I started the day with Lauren, her sister and mother in the bridal suite, where preparations were well under way. Lauren, still in her brides bath robe, already looked stunning and I knew that as soon as she put on her wedding gown, she would take collective breaths away. The energy in the room was electric and Lauren was chomping at the bit to see her soon to be husband Robert and become Mrs Marsden.
Leaving the girls for a few minutes I tracked down the groom and his lovely groomsmen, in order to take a few snaps before all the guests started arriving. Surprise, surprise I found them in the bar area…… but not steadying their nerves with a stiff drink as you would expect. Rather, they were huddled round Roberts phone watching a You Tube video on how to tie the perfect wedding cravat …..

I love them!!!!! Thank you so much! I can’t wait to see them all! Thank you so much!
– Kindest regards, Lauren

The Telford Hotel

Let me start off by saying that Valentines Day 2015 is one that I will never forget.
I will remember a day that was full of love, laughter, a gorgeous bride, a handsome groom and one of the coolest wedding themes that I’ve seen.
Becky and John chose the Telford Hotel and Golf Resort as their wedding venue, which has sweeping views across the historic Iron Bridge and the days theme was ‘Bond, James Bond’.
So much thought was put into this wedding. I loved the giant martini glasses for centre-pieces, the little bottles of bubbles given to each guest to blow as the bride and groom walked down the isle as husband and wife for the first time, and of course the bond themed wedding cake!
Becky’s dress made a statement with its gorgeous red train, which was the perfect colour for the date. John was pure secret agent sophistication with his all black tux, patent leather shoes (check out the photo), which all set Becky and her dress off perfectly.

Thank you for making our day special. It was better than imagined. You were brilliant, especially with the crowd. Thank you – Mr and Mrs Bate xx
